Adler & Hearne: HOME

Welcome to the online home of Adler & Hearne (AKA The Song Farmers)! (updated May 11, 2019)

On Sunday, May 5, 2019, we wrapped up our delightful two-week High Plains Public Radio Music Ambassador Tour (see all the cool places we got to play below -- plus there were some additional fun gigs that fell into place between the lines). COMING UP: we return to play UNCLE CALVIN'S COFFEEHOUSE in Dallas, TX on FRIDAY, JUNE 14, 2019 with very special guest WILLY WELCH opening. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE. We'd love to see you there!!! ~ A&H

P.S. Stay tuned for more gigs and tour updates. We're working as hard as we can to make up for some lost time this past year due to family medical needs. All better now, and we are CRANKING on bookings to get back out there and do what we love most of all -- plant songs in people's hearts.

SPRING UPDATE... preparing to launch out on the High Plains April 22-May 5 as HPPR's Music Ambassadors - yours trulies, Adler & Hearne | The Song Farmers. Last-minute updates to this tour calendar might still be posting daily!

Thanks for understanding that things are a little willy nilly right now in terms of us being on top of things on our web site. We took time off in December/January to care for our daughter Kate who was in serious condition at a hospital in Charleston, SC for more than a month. We're so grateful she MIRACULOUSLY survived, and now is on a healing path. We're getting back into the swing of things -- back to working hard on concert bookings, AND excited to have several new music projects in the works. A couple of children's projects, a new Adler & Hearne duo project. Solo projects too. Yup!

We are working hard to play catch up. It's a journey of faith for us as we do our best to work future concert bookings into the nooks and crannies of our days. We appreciate your reaching out to us to schedule a concert in your home, community or church in 2019-2020.

CALENDAR NOTE: NEW CALENDAR DATES continue to post daily ALWAYS. Kindly check back often to our Calendar page to see if we're headed your way. Better yet, reach out with an invite and we'll get YOUR house concert, or your community or church event on our tour itinerary for winter-into-spring 2019.

Our summer tour took us from the upper east side of Texas to Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Louisiana. There are exciting NEW projects on the horizon too. Come back soon for an update on a new children's project, a Texas Songs project, and a new 'His & Hers' double CD of solo work from Lynn and Lindy. At least, that's what we think it wants to be.

Our upcoming month-long Fall Tour took us on another full sweep to the Upper Midwest down through Tennessee, over to South Carolina and back across the Gulf Coast states to Home Sweet Texas.

WE LOVE HEARING FROM YOU! Especially when you want us to come sing at your venue, home, community, church, special event, etc. And remember: we're on the Texas Touring Roster of the Texas Commission on the Arts. That means if you represent a public school, library, municipality or not-for-profit organization in Texas -- you can apply to the TCA for what's called Performance Support (grant dollars -- up to 50 percent of our fee). Hear Adler & Hearne on "The Hearne Family Album"- !

Thanks to the awesome family tree research provided by Lindy's sister Joan Hearne Thompson -- we were delighted to confirm the long-suspected, family-tree connection between Lindy Hearne, Michael Hearne and Bill Hearne.

Next thing we knew, Michael was extending the invitation to Lindy to contribute a song or two to the long-awaited HEARNE FAMILY ALBUM recording released at Michael Hearne's 2017 15th Annual Big Barn Dance Music Festival in Taos, NM. We were so honored to be included in the festival line-up that year, along with our daughter Kate Hearne. We won't make it to the festival this year, but hope to return in the days to come!

The two songs of ours featured on the recording are "Salty Town" co-written by Lindy Hearne and Kate Hearne, from our CD "Second Nature." And Lindy's song "When They Sing" from our latest double CD "Simpatico."

Wouldn't you like to add the HEARNE FAMILY ALBUM to your collection of Adler & Hearne CDs?!?!

Here's the link to Howlin' Dog Records where you'll soon be able to order the CD. Or email us directly with your order, and we'll ship one to you!

Speaking of albums... have you heard about our latest?!
